# I need help with language. (Spanish)

Hi. I have a problem with the Spanish version. The program does not recognize special characters, such as á, é, ü, etc. The files are configured with utf-8, but still the problem persists. How can I solve that?

Hello, what files are you trying to import that don’t have the non-ASCII characters? Or is it when you try to type them in the DB?

I try to import .xmm files, from OpenSong, according to the documentation they are compatible. Also, when I write a new song, and select another font, the changes are not saved and the default font is left.
