Has anyone located an xml file of the 2011 NIV version of the bible, without the NIV chapter headings. I have found one xml file which has these headings, but they are displayed in Quelea as if they are part of the text
e.g. Genesis 1:1 is displayed as
The beginning In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth’
where ‘The beginning’ is the chapter heading
(The version mentioned in Niv bible in xml - Quelea community I previously downloaded from (OpenSong | Download) is the1984 version of the NIV.)
I have an xml file of the anglicised NIV 2011 Bible to use in Quelea. It has come to light that there are a number of missing verses throughout the xml file, randomly as far as I can see, possibly as a result of the file conversion to xml, or maybe errors in the source file.
The missing verses (NT) include ;
Mark 11:24-33
John 5:40-47, 9:40-41
Acts 15:20-41, 24:9-27
Romans 8 22-39
1 Corinthians 7 39-40, 8 4-13, 11:8-34, 14:36-40
Ephesians 1:10-23
Hebrews 2: 9-18, 6:7-20
1 Peter 3:20-22
1 John 5:9-21
There may be others, and I haven’t checked the Old Testament.
Is this something you’re already aware of, and if so do you have a complete anglicised NIV 2011 xml file?
