Using a Remote Clicker to advance my slides

I have used a remote clicker to advance each song and videos before with Quelea and it worked fine. Now I used it Sunday in our Covid19 live stream and it only worked in the hymn to advance each verse and chorus however when it came to the videos we used it would not advance them. It was stuck on the hymn and wouldn’t go further. I installed PowerPoint and I have not selected PowerPoint to use with my presentations. Is that maybe the reason it won’t work?
