Embedded video in a powerpoint presentation

We have a PowerPoint presentation with an embedded video part way through.
Is there any way to get the video to play?

The only workaround I’ve found is to split the slide deck into two parts, and play the video “manually” in between.

If you activate the LibreOffice or PowerPoint option in the Presentations tab, you should be able to use videos. Without any of these options, the presentations are converted to static images and will therefore not show any videos. If you use PowerPoint, I suggest adding the option to automatically start playing the video when you get to the slide when you create the presentation. That will make it easier to control from Quelea.
