Many of our song verses or choruses are spaced over two slides/screens (for aesthetic reasons) - see example below - which worked very well for us. However, when I try to use Song sequence feature, it just shows the first portion of the verse or chorus and skips to next section when advancing. How do I retain four line screens and use the song sequence feature?
Verse 1
The sun comes up
It’s a new day dawning
It’s time to sing
Your song again
Whatever may pass
And whatever lies before me
Let me be singing
When the evening comes
Chorus
Bless the Lord
O, my soul
O, my soul
Worship his holy name
Sing like never before
O my soul
I’ll worship
your holy name
Hi Bob, @ArvidNy may have some other ideas here - but I think the only way you can do it for the moment is title your verses like “1A” and “1B”, and refer to those in the song sequence editor.
Nice catch, @berry120, with naming the first section Verse 1A and the second Verse 1B – that will retrieve both sections with the sequence V1 with the current code. Yes, that’s probably the only way at the moment.
Should be noted here that I plan on adding support for this without this workaround at some point.
Thanks for your ideas - when we’re able to get back into the church building and resume in-person services I’ll try naming verses (1A, 1B, etc.) and see how it works.
