Hello. Is it possible to have more than one database? Or is there a way to separate into categories, for example “songs”, “hymns”, etc?

I’m afraid not, we have no such system at the moment. You could always create two different databases and switch which one you want to use before you run Quelea, but that doesn’t really sound practical to me. 
Feel free to add an issue for a feature request, but I suspect it’s an intentional design so I’m not sure if it will be implemented.
