I have just updated to windows 11 (new PC) Quelea 2024 locks up for some reason so I have rolled back to 2022. I have installed VLC (current version) When I try to use a motion background I get the desktop backgound instead. If I use a color or a static image that will display. I am at a loss for this one.

Yes and no. I say that because yes I have a very large library but no I do not keep them in the .vid folder. I just keep what I need there which since its a new install of Quelea is pretty small.
Hey, do you get an initial message saying that VLC couldn’t be found?
That is what is really weird. I don’t get any message about VLC at all.
Hmm, it is odd. Some people have had more luck with VLC 2.x, if you fancy giving that a try?

I hope this helps. I was editing a song when Quelea stopped responding. I was watching task manager (I love multiple screens) and the projections window and the edit window both showed “Suspended” before Quelea crashed.

It looks like this is the log from Quelea 2022 rather than 2024? Though it is odd as it definitely still reports VLC initialised ok, so something is odd there. Nothing else to note though, I was hoping there might be an obvious exception / error that pointed to something not being initialised correctly.
The video card shouldn’t be too relevant, but a 3050 is absolutely more than good enough to run Quelea, so no issues there.
Let me unpack it and resend. I had already installed 2022 and had it running for tonight.

The latest Quelea release, however, is 2024.0 ( Release 2024.0 · quelea-projection/Quelea · GitHub ). Using the quelea-2024.0-x64-windows-install.exe :

I think you are using the JessyJP fork?
I have tried both. Had the same results.
